What We Offer: School Workshops

Our workshops can be bespoke to your choice of book genre, theme or title. Or alternatively, Story Detectives can create a standalone session or a series of after school one hour sessions aimed at EYFS / SEND and KS1 children, featuring a variety of engaging and popular children’s stories.

Each one hour session is designed for children in either small groups or whole classes, with opportunities for partner, group and independent work using fun props, clues and costumes throughout.

Children work with characters and scripts, encouraging them to solve weekly or individual cases to reveal a missing storybook from Storyland.

Every practical workshop supports reading, writing and inference skills and encourages children’s confidence when reading with peers, in front of an audience or recording their own clues in their very own case books!

Contact us for your very own after-school workshop personalised package, which also works as part of the new government incentive to provide each school with an enriched education experience.
